1. What if I don’t receive my Frank Visa card?
We apologize in advance if your card was lost in the mail. Please email our support team at email@example.com. Thanks for your patience.
2. Who is eligible for the advance?
If you are receiving an aid refund from your university you are eligible for an advance. Aid refunds are paid to you directly through your university.
3. What is the advance?
The advance is a short-term loan for up to $2,500 per semester provided to you in advance of receiving your Aid Refund. You are required to pay back the advance in 61 days after you receive your advance.
4. How fast can I receive the advance?
Once you are approved we will send out the advance within 2 business days. To be approved for your advance you need to provide us with your tuition bill for the current semester. We will review the documents and verify your enrollment before approving the advance.
5. How do you send me the advance?
You will receive a VISA prepaid card with $500 loaded on it. If you are receiving more than a $500, you will receive a VISA prepaid card with $500 and a check with the difference. You can use the card anywhere Visa cards are accepted. If you are asked for a PIN during the transaction please select Credit and continue. You cannot use the card at an ATM.
6. Is the advance a loan?
Yes, the advance is a loan that is required to be repaid when you receive your Aid Refund but no later than 61 days after you receive the advance from Frank.
7. What can I use the advance for?
You should use the advance for educational and essential school-related expenses, such as food, books, rent, etc. Part of what you should learn as a student is to be responsible with your finances. We at Frank are always happy to help students become responsible adults.
You cannot use the card at an ATM.
8. What if I don’t end up spending the $500 on the Frank VISA card?
Or only $250 of it?
If the card has the full amount of $500 on the card, you can send back the card to our headquarters. Our address is:

If you only used part of the funds, we will still need to request the entire balance
through charging the card you put on file.
9. What if I never received my financial aid refund?
Do I still have to pay Frank back?
Yes, if you never received your financial aid refund, please first contact your school’s financial aid office requesting it. Next, reach out to Frank’s support team to update us on the delay at firstname.lastname@example.org. From there, we will work together to figure out next steps.
10. Do I have to pay the advance back?
Yes, the advance is a loan that is required to be repaid when you receive your Aid Refund, but no later than 61 days after you receive the advance from Frank.
11. When do I need to pay back the advance?
You will need to repay your advance 61 days after you are approved.
12. How do I pay back the advance? Do I need to send a check?
If you received a $500 advance, we will use the debit or credit card you provide us to process the repayment after 61 days. We will send you an email reminder prior to charging your card.
If you received an amount greater than $500, we will charge the card on file $500 and request a check for the remaining balance. If you prefer, you can also send us a check for the entire balance.
