Bernice Murray Scholarship 

For Vermont single parents, the Bernice Murray Scholarship Foundation allows applicants attending accredited schools, who are also eligible for federal funding, to apply for additional financial assistance. You must be a Vermont resident and a single parent with primary custody of at least one child.

Another offering for single fathers comes from BYU Marriot School. For this scholarship, applicants must be single parents with custody of at least one dependent child and enrolled in a Marriott School program. You can be eligible for the scholarship each year if you remain in good academic standing.

The LouEllen Dabbs Scholarship is a nationwide opportunity for single fathers pursuing a career in banking, finance, or business. Additional qualifications include enrolling in a business or finance program, a single parent of at least one child, registered for part-time classes, and maintaining a GPA of at least 2.35.

Park Foundation Scholarship

The Park Foundation Scholarship is awarded to one male and one female each year. To be eligible, you must be a single female or male head-of-household with dependents. You’ll also need to maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate financial need.

This scholarship helps eliminate obstacles that prevent single parents from completing their education or attending college. The Capture the Dream Scholarship could be within reach for single dads if you demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.

In addition to these scholarships, there are plenty of grants, work-study, military, and religious opportunities for single dads to get financial help for their college education.
