The state of Wyoming sponsors a variety of grants including the Leveraging Education Assistance Partnership (LEAP) Grant and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Grant.
Leveraging Education Assistance Partnership (LEAP) Grant
The LEAP program provides need-based grants and community service work-study assistance to eligible postsecondary students. It funds up to $2,500 per student whose Expected Family Contribution is less than $3,850. You need to apply through your college financial aid office.
Athletic Grants-In-Aid At The University of Wyoming
To be eligible for this grant, you must be an athlete attending the University of Wyoming. Funding varies and students need to apply through the athletic department at the University of Wyoming.
Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Grant
As part of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’ commitment to providing people with disabilities opportunities to gain vocational skills, they give out the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Grant each year. The award varies and to apply you need to speak to your financial aid office or directly to the Department of Workforce Services.
